It’s been 25 years since Club Med TCI welcomed their first guest at the first all inclusive resort here in the TCI. Last night officials celebrated the milestone in grand style, here’s a look at the highlights.

The Royal Turks and Caicos Royal Police Force has a new addition to their fleet of vehicles and the TCHTA has come forward to provide the law men with a means of patrolling the Grace Bay area.

The Maritime department of the Turks and Caicos Islands is providing vital survival training to local boat operators to ensure they will be equipped with the adequate survival skills needed should they encounter an emergency on the water.

A special camp for youngsters being held at the Edward C. Gartland Youth Center will be turning their focus towards TCI culture. Director of the camp Portia Clarke says such programs help to promote and maintain the country’s important traditions.

While the boatload of immigrants who were shipwrecked off the coast of West Caicos on Sunday are currently being treated by the local medical department officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Health and Immigration met to decide a plan of action for what’s going to be next for them.

Reliable sources have revealed that the Provo Water Company has shut off services to the Provo Road Traffic department building because of an outstanding hefty water bill. This is not the first time that this department has been forced to temporarily close its doors because of similar issues.
