It’s been almost eight months since the police station that services the Bight community has been closed, and since it’s closure police officials promised that a station would be re-opened to service that area and police presence would be maintained, however residents are now saying that those promises haven’t been delivered.

The 2009 inter-high school softball championship has been postponed until 2010, according to officials it was simply too difficult to accumulate the funds needed to host the 2009 inter-high school softball tournament, Joddy Harvey has the details from the Sports Commission.
