I completely agree with the Honorable Seymour that the Premier should step down from his post while these allegations are proceeding. Based on the alleged rape and the probing by the British government of the Primier and his ministers they all should resign. We as Turks Islanders cannot allow a few bad apples to destroy our “beautiful by nature” anthem. Based on what I have heard and read, this Administration seems to be corrupt. From the top to the bottom. Financially, we are deeply in debt and they are still trying to borrow money. My friends, one needs assets to get loans. Most of our Crown land is gone, fishing is dead and tourists will be turned off by the rape alligation. We need to ask ourselves why are in so much debt and people are barely keeping afloat? The Premier and his ministers live in luxury. Range Rovers, Multi-million dollar homes and on…and on. The Premier must resign permantely and the T&C legal system must be fair during his trial. The world is watching. We cannot allow one man and his cronies to destroy what we hold so dearly. Tourism is our bread and butter; if tourists are informed that the head of the country is being investigated for the rape of the Turks and Caicos Islands and a young American female, would create a backlash that we may not be able to sustain. PLEASE Mr. Primier, this is not about you at this point. Be a man and resign so that the Turks and Caicos Islands is not included in your fiasco.
Finally, PDM and PNP need to unite. Its not about politics, its about saving our Country. Together.
