The Turks and Caicos Department of Health held the Go Red Affair to increase women’s awareness of Heart Disease, the number one fatal disease in women, and even invited a guest speaker, Dr. Yvonne Johnson, Director of Heart Attack Unit at South Miami Hospital to speak about the disease.

Killings in Guyana continue as 12 people were gunned down Sunday night in Bartica, a mining community approximately 80 miles southwest of Georgetown, reported CANANEWS.

The 12 were murdered during a one-hour assault, which has forced the Bharrat Jagdeo administration to postpone Monday’s reading of the national budget.
