Last Weekend Grand Turk reintroduced its first Carnival Weekend since 1992 with the help of Above The Rim Entertainment. WIV4’s Angie Toussaint was there for all the festivities including the Single Mother’s Pagaent, the Parade, the Jonkanoo, and performances from international and local talents like Morgan Heritage and GDT.

Lucayan Ventures announced that they will be importing cement into Jamaica, as the island nation is currently experiencing a cement shortage. According to the Lucayan Ventures Director Hon. Doug Parnell, the British Government has approved the 100 percent Turks and Caicos Islander owned company to move 6500 tons of cement into Jamaica.
