School Registration & Government Subside

Government ministers’ personal assistants have received their second salary cut since the Premier Hon. Galmo Williams took office in March. While the exact amount has not yet been revealed sources tell News 4 that it’s a hefty sum.

First Caribbean International Bank customers in South Caicos are upset with the service being provided at the South Caicos branch. Customers made complaints to News 4 about long lines and lack of sufficient tellers.

Swine Flu in TCI

 After refuting claims on  Friday that there was a case of Swine Flu in the Turks and Caicos Islands Medical personnel  are now saying that there is in fact at least one person a teenager who has tested positive for the sometimes deadly virus. The medical department and other health officials held a press conference late this afternoon to give more details.

L&H enterprises has been oredered to close its doors by the financial services commission after conducting unlawful money transfers.

Manhunt for Robbers

 Police conducted a massive manhunt on Providenciales yesterday afternoon to find the men responsible for robbing two Grace Bay businesses and tonight police say that at least one of those men is in custody.
